Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Federal Construction to lead multiple federal construction projects from inception to completion. The Director will ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety while staying on schedule and within budget. This role requires strong experience in federal project management, a collaborative leadership style, and familiarity with federal government agency guidelines (such as US Army Corps of Engineers) . Occasional travel to project sites across various locations is expected.
Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple federal construction projects, managing timelines, budgets, scopes, and resources.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and government stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting across concurrent projects.
Manage client and stakeholder relationships, providing regular progress updates.
Coordinate with USACE and other relevant agencies on project requirements and compliance.
Prepare and present status reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience managing large-scale federal construction projects, including familiarity with USACE or similar entities.
Proven experience overseeing multiple projects, including ground-up construction.
Strong knowledge of RMS, federal construction regulations, and safety protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel as required.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
