How you'll make an impact:The Director of Field Consulting is responsible for managing their own assigned territory while also providing leadership and oversight to the Regional Executives within their assigned region. This role involves serving as a consultant and subject matter expert to our PEO client, supporting sales and HR/service teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Director of Field Consulting will also be responsible for training and mentoring Regional Executives, providing general leadership and guidance, and contributing to the strategic direction of the region.
- Serve as an active consultant and healthcare subject matter expert to our PEO client throughout the client lifecycle.
- Support the sales team in winning new clients and the HR/service team in retaining clients.
- Manage an assigned territory with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Strive for the highest levels of service when communicating with our PEO client and their prospective and existing worksite employers.
- Research and analyze data to contribute to the development and enhancement of a prospect or client's insurance healthcare offering.
- Recommend strategies on coverage offerings options with the PEO Health and Welfare Plan based on the client's business goals.
- Manage the designated block of business in the assigned territory.
- Train and develop new PEO client sales and service team members.
- Train and develop RE team within assigned territory.
- Assess and clearly communicate market position, needs, and strategic direction.
- Work independently to accomplish territory, company, and client goals.
- Work on individual or corporate projects assigned by the management team.
- Collaborate with other team members and thrive in a matrixed environment.
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of related experience required.
- License required.
- Extensive experience in group healthcare sales and/or account management, with a background in group healthcare carriers and/or brokerage house.
- Experience working with a variety of benefit administrators, experience with PEO industry a plus.
- Experience with a variety of market segments and funding types a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the local carrier market.
- Solid understanding of the employee benefits and insurance space.
- Training/education experience.
- Sales and problem-solving orientation.
- Demonstrated patience, resiliency, and persistence in problem-solving situations.
