RCCA Operational/Financial Position
Job Description – OMI is looking to hire a seasoned professional with approximately 5-7 years of professional experience. An MBA and experience in the healthcare industry would be beneficial attributes for candidates. The role would be structured such that it would be responsible for performing both financial and operational duties. The following are some of the operational and financial roles and responsibilities that the candidate would be required to perform.
Operations:
RCCA Operational/Financial Position
Job Description – OMI is looking to hire a seasoned professional with approximately 5-7 years of professional experience. An MBA and experience in the healthcare industry would be beneficial attributes for candidates. The role would be structured such that it would be responsible for performing both financial and operational duties. The following are some of the operational and financial roles and responsibilities that the candidate would be required to perform.
Operations:
- Assist department managers and operations directors with financial analyses of service lines.
- Assist with implementation of system to monitor financial performance of service lines.
- Meet with department managers and operations directors to fully understand the operations by service line, evaluate processes within service lines and develop performance improvement measures.
- Run billing reports to pull data necessary for financial analyses of service lines.
Financial:
- Oversee and ensure the efficient and accurate monthly closing of the financial books and records for the Hackensack division of RCCA. Coordinate the closing of the books with financial personnel of RCCA HQ and U.S. Oncology
- Continue to enhance and develop the management reporting, and present the monthly financial results to the RCCA management committee
- Coordinate the calculation and the monthly payment of partner distributions
- Consolidating and reporting weekly patient statistics and other key performance metrics
- Managing the cash liquidity of the practice
- Be an integral part in identifying and integrating operating and financial efficiencies that will help to enhance the profitability of the practice
- Administer, track and make payments related to existing compensation, payout, and one-off agreements executed with practice physicians
- Coordinate the preparation and negotiation of the annual financial budget with senior financial management of U.S. Oncology
- Coordinate any other ad-hoc financial analyses that are required from time to time
