Director of FP&A at KBW Financial

About the Job
KBW has teamed up with a growing biotech/life sciences company in Boston, in search of a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing organization and help develop / build upon the R&D financial planning & analysis function. The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will focus on and drive the FP&A process and be a business partner to the R&D team. Responsibilities include:
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts and reporting
• Support updates to financial models
• Various strategic scenario plans, long range plans
• Business development and planning
• Internal reporting packages, calendar, deliverables
• Complex financial analysis
• Present to the Board of Directors
• Special projects as needed
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience
• Experience in life sciences or biotech environments
• Heavy experience in R&D support (Discovery, Research and Clinical)
• Excellent communications skills
• Self-started with strong analytical skills
• Ability to lead projects and influence the business
Compensation: Base (DOE) plus bonus + LTI
Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days/week in office
