Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and manage the Health Information Management (HIM) department to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including HIPAA.
• Reporting to the CFO, this highly visible role ensures the organization's accurate collection of health information.
• Oversee the timely and accurate management of patient health records, medical coding, and data analytics.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance workflows and improve patient care through technology and information sharing.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the organization’s health information systems.
• Train and supervise staff while promoting professional development and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Health Information Management Administration.
• RHIA or RHIT certification is required.
• Three years of proven experience in a leadership role within healthcare, five years of experience, specifically in HIM.
• Strong knowledge of health information systems, data governance, and compliance regulations.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
