ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Operational Activities
- Establishes business unit and individual objectives
- Responsible for financial outcomes and strategic planning
- Lead and build all aspects of in-home support services
- Positions the organization for growth; both in services and geographic
- Responsible for overall operations of in-home services provided by the agency
- Build and lead a cohesive, productive team
- Ensures responsibilities and accountability for all direct reports and defined and understood.
- Develops/updates and implements policies and procedures as needed due to internal change, increased efficiencies or new/modified rules and regulations in the industry.
- Continually seeks out process improvement, evaluating business processes
- Develops and implements procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization.
- Support and lead activities of in-home service division team leads, managers and others
- Ensure coordination of trainings for all in-home service team to establish and maintain the highest level of customer service.
- Coach and train In-home services team, focusing on recruiting, retaining talent, onboarding and referrals
- Direct staffing and recruiting programs
- Supervise and oversee DSS Team for all on-boarding guidelines and quality assurance for in home services to ensure compliance with APD/AHCA/MCO and other payers.
2. Administration and Compliance
- Ensure operations compliance in accordance with federal and state laws relating to the services CRN provides.
- Lead the preparation for Qlarant Reviews, Medicaid surveys, internal audits and periodic service reviews.
- Ensure and maintain compliance requirements for all direct support services.
- Interpret, communicate and implement service documentation requirements as outlined in the Developmental Disabilities Individual Budgeting Waiver Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook, Florida Medicaid Handbook, Agency for Persons with Disabilities Handbook Agency for Healthcare Administration, and Managed Care Organizations.
- Audit, review and update Documentation Requirements per AHCA, APD, MCO, payer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with work related requirements, in coordination with human resources and other departments
- Work in collaboration with other CRN departments to ensure best practices and efficiencies.
- Maintain compliance with rules and regulations for home health agency operations in the state of Florida.
- Foster employee engagement and strengthen CRN culture
- Works in collaboration with marketing and other CRN departments
- Attend community networking and advocacy events, as needed
- Other projects and activities as assigned.
- Oversees the managers, team leaders, and other team members of the In-home services division
- Primary activities are conducted within a well-lit, climate-controlled office.
- Frequent trips into the community require outdoor travel and potential exposure to unpleasant weather and hazardous road conditions.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and possess the normal range of motion.
- Ability to bend, stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time and possess the normal range of body motion.
- Must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
- Noise levels vary in the work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field. An equivalent combination of education and applicable experience may be considered.
- 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within a healthcare system, or Medicaid funded organization; prior I/DD experience preferred
- 2 years’ experience in recruiting and staffing roles, management preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering financial outcomes
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Must pass Level II Background screening.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Must understand general business, office terminology and intermediate computer skills.
- Must have thorough understanding of the MS Office Suite products/programs.
- “Company Knowledge” Understand and articulate the services provided and the customer value for the CRN brand.
- Possess the ability to lead and manage others by exhibiting strong business acumen.
- Demonstrates the ability to analyze, document and improve productivity in all internal systems and processes.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Must be able to compose routine correspondence and reports.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with others.
