About the Position
The position is the key partner to the Chief of Staff, CEO, Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), & Director of Real Estate (DoRE) in achieving organizational goals and operational efficiency. Guides corporate communications and workflow through the Home Office of the corporation and is primarily liaison to represent selected corporate officers with outside constituents. Serves as key partner to CEO, CBDO, and DoRE, in affiliation, merger, and development projects of the corporation. Supervises and directs Home Office Executive Assistant.
Essential skills include the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Key Duties
- Coordinates the calendars of the CEO, CBDO, and DoRE. Schedules appointments, meetings and conference calls, often requiring complex coordination of schedules of multiple outside parties and board members.
- Serves as the primary partner to CEO, CBDO, DoRE, and COS in activities supporting the growth of business operations, including mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, and new developments. This includes, but not limited to, coordinating with legal counsel, and other parties to successfully complete contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Letters of Intent, and other materials related to business development.
- Assists in due diligence organization, distribution, and analysis for all new business relationships, including vetting of new acquisitions, affiliations, joint ventures, and partnerships
- Leads business research and analysis projects for CEO, CBDO, DoRE, and COS.
- Serves as the contact for requests, problems, etc. of residents, their families, staff and outside parties that are brought to the Home Office; analyzes issues, obtains background information, handles or refers appropriately to the COS, CEO, or CBDO.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a relevant position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), and Adobe Acrobat.
