Hybrid Role: Ideally the role would be fully based out of the Boston, MA Family office but there is a possibility of this role to be hybrid with a base in NYC or Boston.

Job Description:
A private family office in Boston, MA seeks an experienced professional to provide five-star service and oversee home technology systems across multiple properties
The ideal candidate has expertise in modern home tech, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster positive relationships with staff, vendors, and family members
This role will manage technology services, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance across properties in Boston, New England, and Southern Florida
Reporting to the President of the family office, the Director will work closely with the family office team and principals.

This role will manage technology services, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance across properties in Boston, New England, and Southern Florida
Reporting to the President of the family office, the Director will work closely with the family office team and principals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure seamless operation and security of technology systems across all properties.
- Set up preventative maintenance and troubleshooting systems for home tech.
- Directly interact with principals to address their needs and provide solutions.
- Oversee tech projects, manage vendor relations, and guide decision-making.
- Create user-friendly guides for tech systems and maintain detailed documentation.
- Manage installations and upgrades to ensure continuity across all properties.
- Collaborate with security teams on home security technology.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in home technology management or AV firm/corporate tech roles.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with relevant experience considered.
- Expertise in Smart Home systems (Crestron, Lutron, Sonos, etc.).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Asana experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Resourceful, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- High ethics, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- A positive, calm demeanor under pressure, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Valid driver’s license
- Legal work authorization in the US
