About the Job
Leading commercial cleaning and janitorial company in Midtown, NYC is actively seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Director of Hospitality Services. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Salary depends on experience. Company offers health insurance, 401(k), profit-sharing, bonuses, and PTO.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing several aspects of the business including but not limiting: Supporting growth of hospitality division using account management, business development skills, operations and customer relations to drive a successful department.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective or current hospitality clients
Public Speaking, able to make presentations to business professionals
Operational experience subcontracting within hotels
Develop new business for the company to grow hospitality division
Forecast new jobs and assignments to ensure proper coverage
Following up on completed jobs to ensure work is up to company standards
Directing and overseeing supervisors
Assisting in the hiring processQualifications:
5+ years in Hotel/ Commercial Cleaning/ Janitorial Operations required
Business Development and Operations Management experience
Proven capacity to maintain order amidst various tasks and responsibilities
Demonstrate the ability to efficiently juggle multiple tasks and prioritize them based on urgency and importance
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
Must be familiar with NYC and transportationQualifications:
5+ years in Hotel/ Commercial Cleaning/ Janitorial Operations required
