About the Job
- Provides leadership, direction, and management oversight for continuous improvements in the standard for EVS and Housekeeping.
- Assigns, directs and controls work activities of Floor Supervisors, Guest Room Attendants, Heavy Porters, Housepersons and Environmental Services (EVS) staff to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive guestrooms.
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Recruits, interviews, hires and develops team members to ensure retention.
- Responsible to maintain proper staffing and scheduling of employees.
- Assures that adequate housekeeping, equipment and supplies are available and well-maintained.
- Prepares weekly / monthly / annual labor and operating reports.
- Makes recommendations to improve service and efficiencies.
- Investigates and responds to guest complaints and takes corrective action to reduce complaint issues.
- Plans and coordinates preventative maintenance and general maintenance cleaning programs.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and credits of housekeeping or sanitation seminars are desirable.
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience of working experience in various areas of the hotel operation.
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience is a management role.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Must be able to obtain a valid Casino Employee Registrant License
