Director of Human Resources
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead their HR department and drive the overall HR strategy for their organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, leadership skills, and a proven track record of aligning HR practices with business objectives. This role will oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development.
Location: Carmel, IN (100% Onsite)
Pay Transparency: $120k-180k DOE

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Advise and support senior management on HR-related issues, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Talent Management:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
- Implement and manage employee development programs, including training, performance management, and career development.
- Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive organizational culture and maintain high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Address employee concerns and grievances, and implement strategies to resolve conflicts and improve workplace relationships.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation, benefits, and employment practices.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage HR-related risk and compliance issues, including audits and investigations.
- Organizational Development:
- Drive initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including change management and employee engagement strategies.
- Analyze HR metrics and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and enhance HR practices.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Oversee HR department operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in delivering HR services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
