Job Description:
Ensure that all functions of staffing, compensation, benefits, safety, and performance management are in place and in compliance with federal, state and local laws to support the Strategic Plan of the Organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES:
- Assure compliance with OSHA, EEO, FLSA, ERISA, EAP and other employment laws pertaining to the operation of the business.
- Ensure employee compliance with company policies.
- Recruitment, selection, and training of employees
- Administer Salary and Hourly Wage plans.
- Directs Human Resource Staff
- Assure open communications between management and associates.
- Ensure the Safety and Security of the company assets. (human and non-human)
- Assures that a mutual satisfactory relationship between the company and community is apparent and maintained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Organizational /Industrial Management
- 10 years' experience in Manufacturing (Union-Non-Union) environment
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
