Job Description: As the Human Resources Director of WSL, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, recruiting, training, benefits administration, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead HR operations, including payroll oversight, recruitment, onboarding, training, and resolving personnel issues.
- Maintain current job descriptions and ensure compliance with NH state licensing requirements.
- Oversee the HR Recruiter and ensure efficient daily operations.
- Manage company payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and process payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and benefit changes.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment process and benefits administration.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- Maintain personnel filing systems and employee records.
- Monitor unemployment claims and assist with appeals.
- Promote a positive company culture and support employee development.
Requirements:
- Seven or more years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP/SCP Certification preferred.
- Ongoing professional development and participation in conferences and organizations.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in computer operations, including MS Office suite.
