Requirements:
We are seeking a Director of Implementation Services to join our mission to power any video experience using Kaltura’s SaaS Video and Virtual Event Platform. In this role, you will be part of the Customer Experience organization, specifically within Professional Services, where you will lead and manage a team dedicated to implementing Kaltura products and services for our clients.
As the Director of Implementation Services, you will oversee a team of Implementation Managers who handle the setup and configuration of our SaaS products, with a particular focus on Virtual Events. This position demands a strategic leader with a robust background in team leadership, project management, client relations, and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of successfully managing complex software implementations and leading high-performing teams within tight deadlines.
This role is based in New York City, with an expectation for candidates to work from the office 2-3 days per week.
The day-to-day :
- Lead and manage the Implementation Services team and contractors, ensuring successful delivery of all projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve implementation processes and client satisfaction.
- Oversee the setup and configuration tasks of virtual events, video portals, and LMS integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project and task progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, team performance, and client feedback.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Ideally, we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software implementation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of SaaS products, virtual events, video portals, and LMS integrations.
- Proven project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high performance.
These would also be nice:
- Experience using SalesForce, AirTable, and Jira is very helpful.
- Experience with Video streaming is highly desirable
- Background in virtual events within a professional services organization is very helpful.
- Knowledge and experience with web-based video delivery, infrastructure, streaming, encoding and optimization an asset.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000–$140,000 per year
