We’re looking for a dedicated and visionary Director of Information Services to lead our IT infrastructure, manage our Information Services team, and drive technology solutions across all our communities.
Position Overview: As the Director of Information Services, you will oversee the technological infrastructure at Greencroft Communities, ensuring our systems operate at peak performance and implementing innovative solutions. You’ll lead a dynamic IS team, manage projects, and collaborate with various departments to enhance our technology landscape. This role is pivotal in maintaining and expanding our IT capabilities while supporting strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the Information Services team. Develop and implement training programs to boost skills and knowledge across our teams.
- Service Excellence: Oversee helpdesk operations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure high-quality IT service and support.
- Quality Improvement: Monitor and refine IS processes, stay updated on industry trends, and manage IT service providers to ensure top-notch service delivery.
- Financial Management: Assist with IT budgeting, control expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial and legal standards.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate on IS strategy, recommend new technologies, and drive projects from inception to completion while fostering a culture of innovation.
Secondary Functions:
- Act as a backup for the VP of IS and contribute to the General Management Group, upholding the reputation of Greencroft and maintaining confidentiality.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in IT management and a strong understanding of LAN networking, Microsoft Office 365, and computer hardware.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and training abilities. Familiarity with accounting and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
