Who You Are
The Director of Marketing at Paragon Events will be responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing the company's comprehensive marketing strategy as well as working with client projects and internal team members on execution of client focused projects. This senior leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of brand management, digital marketing, and B2B strategies. The Director of Marketing will work closely with executive leadership and the sales team to drive growth, enhance brand equity, and ensure that all marketing efforts align with the company’s business objectives.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that supports the company’s overall goals and objectives, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, content, email, and advertising.
- Manage the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual elements across all marketing materials and customer touchpoints.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges, adjusting marketing strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with sales and other departments to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives and lead generation.
- Manage the company’s CRM and database, ensuring targeted communication to foster client relationships and new business leads.
- Oversee the management of marketing budgets, optimizing spend across channels and ensuring the highest possible return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve performance.
- Represent the marketing function in executive leadership meetings, providing updates on key initiatives, results, and strategic recommendations.
- Stay abreast of emerging marketing technologies, tools, and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to maintain a competitive edge.
- Oversee department staff and functions, including project plans, content development, multi-channel communications, design and other deliverable.
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, print, and events for Paragon Events or various clients.
- Develop and manage comprehensive marketing calendars and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand and establish clear project requirements.
- Other relevant duties as necessary.
What You Bring
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance brand reputation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a diverse team of marketing professionals.
- Extensive experience in digital marketing, brand management, and integrated marketing communications.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable marketing plans.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, HubSpot, and digital marketing platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to change.
- Understanding or experience in the event industry is a plus.
