POSITION DETAIL

Holding approximately $445 million in assets and located in Wichita, Kansas, Mid American Credit Union is currently in search of a Director of Marketing.  This individual will report directly to the President/CEO and will be responsible for the overall marketing functions of the credit union to include a focus on select employee groups, retail marketing, and financial literacy.  This is an opportunity for someone to develop an overall strategic marketing strategy for the credit union, implement tactical marketing plans to support the initiatives of the credit union, and drive the charge to increase brand awareness in the community.  The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead a marketing team, have the willingness to lead the advocacy efforts of the credit union on the state and national level, and bring a strategic vision to the marketing department.  The successful candidate will have five plus years of marketing experience within a financial institution and hold a bachelor’s degree.
