What You Will Do

·         The Director of Marketing is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with acute-care hospitals, health systems, discharge planners, case managers, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities

·         Work with physicians and hospital discharge planners to arrange a smooth transition to the facility

·         Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge planners and other referral sources

·         Analyze referrals to ensure facility can meet resident’s needs adequately with direction from D.O.N.

·         Facilitate a decision for admission approval and notification of admission approval timely to referring agency

·         Help develop and implement a marketing strategy for the facility with our regional marketing team as well as managers in the field

·         The Director of Marketing works closely with the company’s Admission’s and Business Office Manager

·         Influence decision making among various stakeholders to generate referrals and admissions from referral sources

·         Participate in community events and activities that promote company goals and initiatives

·         Assist in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process

Who You Are

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

·         Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

·         At least three (3) years’ experience in marketing management, preferably in health care

·         Proven experience as Marketing Director, preferably in Senior Living/Skilled Nursing

·         Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community

·         Great communication and interpersonal skills
