Overview:East Penn is currently seeking a Director of Marketing to work at our corporate location, in Lyon Station, PA. The Director of Marketing is responsible for oversight of planning, coordinating, and executing all tradeshows and events. They will be a key person in developing key messaging for tradeshows and executing delivery of these strategies. Director of Marketing is to devise and present new ideas and coordinate the execution of the plan with either internal East Penn or external third-party resources. They will also be responsible to mentor and train the tradeshow and event coordinator. The Director of Marketing will oversee all events coordinated by marketing, which involves planning, contract negotiations, and execution. They will assist in the strategy and execution of digital, product and other marketing efforts including strategic product marketing campaigns using research to develop marketing strategies that pinpoint specific target audiences and get results. They will be responsible for developing written communications for these initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee tradeshow program including purchasing of displays.
- Mentoring of tradeshow and event coordinator to develop strategic skill sets.
- Developing innovative campaigns for current and new product introductions as needed.
- Conducting research and analyzing data to identify and define audiences.
- Developing innovative campaigns for current and new product introductions. Set specific marketing goals that align with the overall direction of the business. Monitor overall performance.
- Writing creative copy for campaigns.
- Develop presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the development of special websites for content and strategic positioning.
- Monitoring and analyzing website analytics and making regular recommendations on updates.
- Interaction with customers for research and overseeing specific customer requests as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience & Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of work experience in supervisory, management or professional level role with emphasis on advertising/marketing and tradeshows.
- 3-5 years of experience developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns.
- Proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns and written communications.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in developing marketing campaigns.
- Prior experience with digital marketing forms like content marketing and social media marketing.
- Prior experience in tradeshow and event planning.
- Experience managing and mentoring team members.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Education/Certification
- Undergraduate Business Administration/Marketing, required.
- MBA, preferred.
