About the Job
Summary:
Ensure the successful and efficient operation for the Mission Services Department at all facilities. Provide outstanding services and programs that will raise the quality of life for people with disabilities and/or disadvantages through the provision of competitive and gainful employment.
Job Responsibilities:

- Directs and supervises Mission Services staff, including job coaches, employment specialists, Vocational Adjustment teachers, and Employee/ Community Assistance Specialists.
- Maintain and update all CARF required data and reports.
- Secure relationships with community organizations that will refer potential job seekers to the Mission Services Department.
- Research present and future needs of area industry and develop and implement sound educational and skill-based training programs for clients that meet those needs.
- Ensure Mission Services staff are provided training to stay current and knowledgeable in the employment services field and provide high quality programs to our clients in a successful, results oriented manner.
- Ensure the Mission Services Department provides qualified professional testing guidance, counseling, and training for all clients and that all necessary information is recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Special Skills:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years working experience with individuals with disabilities/disadvantages striving for successful employment outcomes.
- Excellent communication skill, articulate, and self-confident.
- Highly skilled in designing, developing and writing articles, newsletters, ads and brochures.
- Budgeting and cost maintenance.
- Experience speaking before large groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to assess client needs.
- Knowledge of computers and commonly used software.
