We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department in providing exceptional care to our residents. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality of nursing services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a compassionate and effective team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management: Direct and manage the nursing team to maintain the highest standards of care in our rehabilitation and long-term care facility.
• Policy Development: Implement and update nursing policies and procedures to enhance resident care and operational efficiency.
• Staff Collaboration: Promote effective communication among nursing staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all nursing practices meet local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Resident Care Coordination: Develop individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each resident.
• Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate knowledge of best nursing practices and clinical guidelines to enhance team performance.
• Documentation Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all medical records and documentation.
• Recruitment & Training: Participate in the hiring, orientation, and ongoing training of nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Adaptability: Maintain flexibility in your work schedule to meet the evolving needs of our facility.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation settings.
• Proven experience in staff training, leadership, and clinical supervision.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate care.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a nursing team.
