Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate and enhance patient care services.
• Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional development and a positive work environment.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans, policies, and procedures to meet the changing needs of residents.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• Proven experience in nursing leadership and management, preferably in a long-term care setting.
