Position Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our exceptional nursing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in nursing management with experience in long term care, a strong commitment to quality care, and a proactive approach to leadership. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and compliance with regulations.
• Lead and support our nursing team, including training, mentorship, and performance evaluations, to maintain a positive, collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with our tenured nurse management team to maintain an agency-free workforce and enhance resident satisfaction.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Actively engage with residents, families, and staff to ensure open communication and foster a welcoming environment.
• Stay current with best practices, regulatory requirements, and nursing standards to maintain the highest quality of care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team in a positive and productive manner.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, compassion, and integrity in resident care.
