Director of Nursing Med Surg at Clinical Management Consultants

We are seeking a Director of Nursing Med Surg in the sunny panhandle area of Florida! This leader will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the medical surgical unit. 

The Director of Nursing Med Surg will report directly to the ACNO ensuring high quality patient care across a 45 bed med surg unit. This position will be supported by a manager and an amazing team of clinical nurse coordinators, RNs, LPNs and PCTs. 

The Director of Nursing Med Surg will lead, mentor, and develop a team of nursing professionals, ensuring that clinical operations run efficiently and effectively throughout the unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Implement strategies to enhance staff satisfaction and retention, addressing any issues related to workload, morale, and job satisfaction. Lead efforts to maintain or exceed quality benchmarks and patient safety goals. Participate in hospital-wide committees and initiatives related to quality improvement and patient care.
