Director of Nursing (RN)
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in long-term care and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a positive and professional environment that promotes staff development and teamwork.
- Monitor patient care to ensure it meets professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
- Develop and manage the nursing budget to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and nursing activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in long-term care.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
