Responsibilities for Director of Nursing (RN):

• Responsible for staff development, nursing education and management of nursing practice
• Coordinate nursing staff orientation and training to both facility and company policies
• Observe and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff
• Make clinical rounds
• Assist with recruiting efforts

Qualifications for Director of Nursing (RN):

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in North Carolina; Bachelors in Nursing preferred
• A valid CPR card
• Progressive administrative/management training in the Nursing Department in a healthcare setting preferred
