Job Summary:
+Responsible for managing, directing and supervising nursing and direct care personnel, including hiring, scheduling, budgetary issues and training.
+Plans and coordinates the nursing services in conjunction with medical and administrative systems.
+Participates as a member of the management team in planning, policy formation and administrative duties
+Assists in reviewing the quality assurance activities of the hospital and making recommendations for improvements on an on-going basis.
+Responsible for development of goals within the nursing services department, as well as assisting in the goal attainment of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
+BSN, MSN preferred. Equivalent experience may substitute for MSN.
+Valid KY RN license.
+5 years nursing experience. 2 years nursing management experience preferred.
