Ideal Candidate Qualifications A Director of Nursing (DON) :

• 3-5 years of A Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (DON) experience in long-term care (LTC) preferred
• Licensed as an RN in the state of Wisconsin
• Strong communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
• Well-versed in state and federal long-term care regulations
• Knowledge of Wisconsin Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare, and Medicaid

Your Impactful Role As A Director of Nursing (DON):

• Define and uphold high standards of nursing practice within the facility
• Lead and manage the nursing staff with focus on training, evaluation, and supervision
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Monitor and manage departmental budgets to ensure responsible resource use
• Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere for both residents and team members
