Pay:$85,000-$90,000/salary
Schedule:
- Full-Time , Monday - Friday 8:30-5PM
- Ability to respond to on-call nursing emergencies outside working hours
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team in West Jordan, Utah. In this role, you will oversee the compliance, quality and coordinator of the clinical services provided at this location, including oversight of clinical Managers and other clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of agency policies, State, and Medicaid/Medicare regulations for patient care.
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply relevant guidelines and procedures.
- Develop and maintain departmental compliance and quality assurance standards.
- Apply professional nursing theory and practice in evaluating and providing patient care.
- Identify and solve problems related to patient care and departmental operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports (Excel, Kantime-EMR, etc)
- Implement safety measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Supervise and support Clinical Managers and field staff.
- Collaborate with the recruiting/HR team throughout the interview and hiring process.
Qualifications:
- Current Utah RN license in good standing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
- Previous leadership/manager experience within home health environment preferred
- 2+ years of nursing experience within home health or private duty preferred.
- Previous experience within high/acuity, critical care preferred
- Experience with both pediatric and adult populations
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Clean driving record and auto insurance.
- Willingness to travel between Salt Lake and Utah Counties.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
