Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Dental Operational Leader to lead the expansion of new service lines, such as Orthodontics, Pediatric & General Dentistry, and Oral Surgery, across our multiple dental locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare operations, with a focus on multi-site management, service line integration, and hands-on experience in planning, onboarding, and post-implementation support. This leader will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration, including the preparation of facilities, equipment procurement, team hiring, scheduling, and training for the launch of these service lines.

Responsibilities:Service Line Planning & Expansion:
- Service Line Development: Lead the strategic execution and initial oversight of new service lines, including Orthodontics, Dentistry, and Oral Surgery, across multiple dental sites.
- Facility Assessment & Equipment Planning: Take part in the initial assessment of each location for service line suitability, ensuring appropriate space allocation, equipment needs, and procurement timelines.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with finance and our Strategy Team to establish, monitor, and manage budgets for new service line integration, including equipment, supplies, and staffing costs.
Personnel & Staffing:
- Hiring & Onboarding: Assist with recruitment for required clinical and administrative roles, coordinating with Talent Acquisition to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
- Training Programs: Implement comprehensive training plans for new hires and existing staff to ensure a smooth onboarding and understanding of new service line protocols and workflows.
- Role Clarity & Accountability: Define clear roles, expectations, and performance metrics for team members working within each service line.
Operational Readiness & Go-Live Support:
- Implementation Planning: Create detailed implementation timelines and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for service line launches.
- Risk Management: Identify and proactively mitigate operational risks associated with service line expansion, collaborating with Risk & Compliance teams as needed.
Post Go-Live Oversight & Continuous Improvement:
- Follow-up & Evaluation: Conduct regular post-implementation assessments, reviewing patient flow, staff performance, and operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Utilize feedback from staff and patients to refine workflows, address challenges, and enhance service line delivery and patient experience.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators on service line performance, sharing insights and recommendations with senior leadership.
- Experience: 5+ years of multi-site operational management experience in dental settings, with a proven track record of successfully adding and managing new service lines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field
- Skills: Strong project management, strategic planning, and team leadership skills; ability to handle multiple sites and coordinate complex implementations.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with dental practices and specialized services like Orthodontics and Oral Surgery, including equipment requirements, patient workflows, and staffing needs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clinical staff, administrative teams, and senior leadership.
