Join Chick-fil-A as a Director of Operations. As the Director of Operations, you will report directly to the Owner/Operator and lead the entire restaurant team. Your role will involve identifying, coaching, and developing leaders within the restaurant while maintaining high team morale. This position offers a starting pay of $35 per hour along with a range of benefits including health insurance, wellness reimbursement, 401K matching up to 5%, access to scholarships, and more. With Sundays off and a positive work environment, this role provides an excellent opportunity for growth and leadership development.
Responsibilities:
- Protect the Chick-fil-A Brand
- Train, develop, mentor, and coach the Team
- Ensure Safety, Security, and Team well-being
- Address all Safety, Security, Money, and Liability issues promptly
- Conduct regular check-ins with Team Members and Leaders
- Ensure that all disciplinary issues (point infractions and corrective actions) are documented
- Stay informed of all aspect of the business including Human Resources, Kitchen, Training, Payroll, Marketing, and Catering
- Ensure that all Facility and Equipment maintenance standards are upheld
- Re-evaluate checklists, systems, processes, role clarity and suggest adjustments
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong conflict management and organizational skills
- Ability to lead, influence, and adapt to different learning styles
- Proficient in written and verbal communication
- Skilled in problem-solving and prioritizing tasks
Education and Certification Requirements:
- 4 years of Management Experience or a Bachelor’s Degree
- ServeSafe Certification - up to date every 3 years
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at times
- Stand and be physically active for long periods
- Ability to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours a week
