About This Role: | The Director of Operations for the Kansas State University Research Foundation (KSURF) is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing the operational aspects of the technology transfer and commercialization activities. The position involves managing the business and patent management functions, ensuring professional support of all licensing, technology transfer and commercialization activities; and directing all compliance matters, internal and external, including federal, state, and non-profit obligations tied to intellectual property. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing best practices, and ensuring that technology transfer support activities align with organizational strategic goals, compliance management and financial decisions. The director will play a key role in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation in the successful commercialization of intellectual property and research advancements. |
