The Director of Operations is the cornerstone for overseeing and optimizing the operational excellence of the dental offices. This position plays a critical role in leading, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dental practice, ensuring optimal patient care and service. The Director of Operations will drive performance and growth, creating a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Dental Office Leadership
- Needs to understand every aspect of running a dental office.
- Budgets, P & L’s, expenses, payroll, patient scheduling utilization, staff productivity, collections, understanding KPI’s, payables, A/R, cash reconciliation, practice audits, various Practice Management Software’s and controlling operations expenses.
- Needs to understand every aspect of running a dental office.
- Strategic Planning and Implementation
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, growth, and profitability of dental practices.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Provide leadership to office leaders and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.
- Servant Leadership approach with a focus on collaborative and partnership decision-making.
- Financial Oversight
- Ensure financial stability through sound budget management, financial analysis, and adherence to financial protocols. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve practice performance.
- Exceptional numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all dental offices adhere to regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards with all local, state and federal regulations and standards. Conduct regular audits to assess and improve the quality of services provided.
- Operational Efficiency
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements, process enhancements, and cost-saving measures. Implement streamlined processes to enhance overall office efficiency.
- Weekly/Bi-Weekly meeting with practices to review KPI’s, strategic initiatives for growth and profitability.
