Director of Operations
Our client is a cutting-edge architecture, engineering, and product design firm. This role will work with other members of the office management team to manage the office, operations, and culture. As Director of Operations, this position provides leadership through planning, organizing, and executing operational strategies, with oversight from the Principals to promote efficiencies and streamline project delivery team performance in support of company objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operations and processes that promote Company goals and initiatives.
Monitors and manages workload for the Studio teams to ensure a reasonable utilization.
Plan, monitor, and analyze metrics for overall performance and see opportunities to lead process improvement.
Meet regularly with Project Managers to ensure project budgets are set up appropriately and tracked consistently.
Coordinate with and facilitate Project Managers with proposal preparation and final delivery.
Perform periodic timesheet audits.
Identify process improvement opportunities to improve Company operations continuously.
Uphold organizational policies and standards.
Oversee all operational aspects of the Company.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Architecture or Engineering, Masters degree preferred.
10+ years of operational and project management experience.
Supervisory experience in managing an architectural or engineering team.
Strong communication skills.
Desire to lead in a fast-paced and growing company.
