We are a rapidly growing landscape design and construction company based in Santa Barbara. At Clearview, we specialize in transforming residential outdoor spaces through innovative design, construction, and maintenance services.
As Director of Operations, you will play a key role in overseeing project management and operational efficiency. You are a natural problem-solver with expertise in estimates, managing budgets, timelines, and field teams. Your leadership ensures projects are executed seamlessly, from inception to completion, while driving continuous improvement across the board.
At Clearview, you will lead with a focus on operational excellence, accountability, and innovation, all while maintaining effective budget management.
Must-Haves:
- Solid understanding of the Construction and/or Landscaping industry.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Extreme attention to detail with an easy going attitude

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Project Operations
- Lead project managers to ensure adherence to project milestones, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage logistics and operational support through the Field Operations Manager.
- Coordinate with the project planning team to ensure smooth project execution.
2. Lead and Develop Teams
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a high-performing operations team.
- Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Meet with and manage the field teams on a daily basis to ensure compliance and execution aligns with current milestones, budgets and expectations.
3. Estimate Creation and Budget Management
- Work with key stakeholders to turn ideas and request into estimates and milestones
- Manage the milestones and budgets for each project as they unfold to ensure our projects are on time and on budget
- Generate and manage change orders where appropriate
4. Reporting and Analysis
- Utilize Buildertrend software to track project progress and produce operational reports.
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly progress updates and key insights to the CEO.
5. Strategic Planning and Innovation
- Lead the operational planning process to align with the company's strategic goals.
- Continuously assess and adapt operational strategies to meet evolving business needs.
