Exceptional Admins (EA) is seeking a professional for an opportunity with an executive/firm in the DTC area (80110).
EA is a boutique firm exclusively focused on placing administrative professionals. The philosophy behind the EA process is to deliver exceptional professionals to each client with the outcome producing high-level support to the role and organization. While skill-set is a large focus during the process, personality and charisma of each candidate are viewed just as important.
About the team and organization
Founded in 2017, this software company is an industry leader when it comes to streamlining roofing projects. Already used by hundreds of industry experts across the nation, the company has ambitious goals to significantly multiply their customer base over the next 3-years. The company has a comprehensive and ambitious outline to scale and develop up each business unit and they need a Director of Operations to achieve these goals. The company currently has 20 team members, with the plan to grow by 10 over the next 2-years. The small but mighty team works in their Greenwood village office. There is a ton of natural light and easy parking.
Hiring goal
The company seeks to welcome a committed professional who has experience handling operational responsibilities. You should be naturally proactive, embody a collaborative spirit, and most of all, be someone who likes to make a difference. The individual will be managing a variety of impactful duties from optimizing workflows, implementing strategies and overseeing human resources initiatives. You’ll work very closely with the CEO helping carry out the vision of the company.
ROLE OVERVIEW
People and Office Operations: 50%
- Manage all HR activities including:
Talent acquisition and management
Learning and develoment
Compensation and benefits
Employee relations and engagement
Operations
Compliance
Overseeing international, remote employees
Responsible for directing all people functions of the organization
Identify, design, and deploy documentation, implementation, and iteration of processes to optimize workflow
Champion a culture of curiosity and optimization (experience doing this previously would be great)
Design and manage change management efforts
Has experience maintaining effective relationships with business units inside a small organization
Work with Accounting on maintaining the annual budget
Well versed with technology applications and the management of them (ex: Adobe, Slack, GSuite, Apple OS, and the like)
Executive Operations: 50%
Business Development: 30%
Work in tandem with the CEO to launch and maintain vision and scale initiatives
Be secondary on any business development efforts, tactically carrying out the CEOs vision
Handle full-cycle activities affiliated with onsite meetings, vendor and stakeholder management
Investor and Board Relations: 10%
Partner with CEO on investor relations activities
Work with marketing team on quarterly updates
Coordination of materials for Board Meetings (oversight)
Work with CEO on equity activity for investors
Experience with Carta platform (optional)

Legal: 10%
Partner with CEO to ensure strategy and structure of legal activities are smooth and fulfilled

You are technically savvy, resourceful, and industrious (i.e., find ways to consolidate responsibilities with intuitive technology resources)

Company offerings
Salary: $95k - $120k, exempt and an annual target 10% tied to company and individual metrics.
Hours: Hybrid in office. Current schedule (up for discussion) 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Equity: Equity offering based on experience.
PTO: Unlimited PTO
