The JOB:
The Director of Outlets is responsible for leading the Food and Beverage (F&B) front-of-house operations across La Playa Beach & Golf Resort's dining venues, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, financial success, and adherence to Noble House brand standards. This role oversees daily activities at multiple F&B outlets, crafting memorable dining experiences and managing all aspects of front-of-house financial accountability, including revenue, payroll, expense control, and departmental profitability. A strong knowledge of wine inventory, food pairing, mixology, and craft beer offerings is essential to exceed guest expectations.
- Responsible for F&B activations and event planning within the resort outlets / venues that further expand the guest and member experience, showcases value, while exceeding expectations of of food and beverage policies, procedures, and standards
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort's four dining outlets, including restaurants, bars, and any other food and beverage venues
- Collaborate with chefs, restaurant managers, and other staff to maintain high-quality food and service standards
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by maintaining service standards, addressing guest concerns, and continually seeking ways to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Monitor and evaluate guest feedback and implement improvements as necessary. Departmental leader of the Resort GSS (Guest Service Satisfaction) Team
- Supervise and provide leadership to food and beverage staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Responsible for departmental financial forecasting and reporting. Including labor management systems and adjustments to assure profit margins are maintained, balanced with quality service.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverage items in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections of dining outlets to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to quality standards.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- It is preferred to have a bachelor's degree, along with experience in Food & Beverage operations and management.
- Five to ten years' experience in Food and Beverage leadership position, preferably in a Hospitality specific role.
- Systems knowledge: PC applications and point-of-sale systems for lodging, food and beverage, and retail.
- Leadership and analytical skills proven through experience.
- Perform job functions with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
- Organize, prioritize, and follow up on tasks.
- Remain calm and use good judgment when resolving problems.
- Professional appearance and presentation required.
- Ability to positively interact with diverse personalities, including co-workers, subordinates, guests, and purveyors in a variety of work situations.
- Must have active listening and effective communication skills.
