About the Job
Director of Parish Engagement: St. John Cantius is an urban parish serving the neighborhood of Bridesburg in the City of Philadelphia but is deeply engaged with the larger community. We are a mid-sized parish of mixed nationalities, Polish, German, Irish etc. Please visit us online at stjohncantiusparish.org About the Role The Director of Parish Engagement works closely with individual parishioners, the Pastor and Parochial Vicar, staff, and other ministries to facilitate and promote involvement and engagement in the life of the parish through parish events. The Engagement Director also facilitates meaningful parish engagement with our surrounding communities, helping build trusting relationships with the communities we aim to serve.

Other Requirements
- Complete compliance with diocesan safety (including Federal Criminal History Record, fingerprints for FBI background check, PA State Criminal Record Check (Act 34), PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 33/151), Protecting God’s Children certificate of completion, Mandated Reporter Training certificate of completion)
