The Director of Leadership and Culture is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing leadership development programs and culture initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic goals. This role focuses on building leadership capabilities, fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment, and promoting a culture that drives performance, innovation, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Design and implement leadership development programs, workshops, and training for current and emerging leaders.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to assess leadership needs and create customized development plans.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of leadership initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
- Lead executive coaching and mentorship programs to cultivate leadership talent.
- Define and champion the organization’s cultural values and ensure they are reflected in daily operations and employee behaviors.
- Partner with HR and other departments to develop initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace.
- Conduct culture assessments and use feedback to refine strategies and initiatives.
- Design leadership succession planning and talent pipelines for key roles within the organization- utilizing Storybook.
- Assess and identify high-potential employees and work with them to develop future leadership skills.
- Provide leadership development consulting to business units across the organization.
- Monitor employee engagement levels and lead initiatives that enhance engagement, retention, and organizational loyalty.
- Lead employee recognition programs that reinforce cultural values and celebrate exemplary leadership.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to leadership effectiveness and culture.
- Regularly report to senior leadership on the impact of leadership and cultural initiatives, providing data-driven insights for future planning.
- Maintain weekly check-ins with leadership utilizing 10-15 minute meetings.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in leadership development, organizational culture, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of leadership theories and culture-building frameworks.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing leadership programs and cultural initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
