Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology, Finance, and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently, we are partnered with a preferred client in Hot Springs, AR in search of a talented Director of People Services.
Job Summary:
The Director of People Services will lead and oversee all aspects of human resources management for a prominent healthcare organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Formulate and recommend program goals and objectives in all areas of co-worker relations
- Develop, implement, and administer co-worker relations programs to improve employee engagement
- Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management
- Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational goals related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
- Supervise subordinate staff in recruitment, selection procedures, and personnel policies
- Develop and establish in-service employee training and educational assistance programs
- Investigate and resolve employee issues, including working conditions, disciplinary actions, and grievances
- Prepare and present required and special reports
- Develop and manage the HR department budget
- Evaluate performance and recommend hiring, promotion, termination, and disciplinary actions
- Direct onboarding of new employees and update general orientation processes
- Lead recruitment activities and provide high-level communication and training to directors and managers
Qualifications:
I. Education:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business or Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or a closely related field
- Master's degree (preferred)
II. Experience:
- Considerable knowledge of co-worker relations and Human Resource Management principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources
- Healthcare experience (preferred)
III. License(s)/Certification(s):
- SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
