Job Summary:
As the Director of Pharmacy Services, you will manage the entire medication use process within the hospital, providing leadership in planning, organizing, and directing the operations, clinical services, and staff of the Pharmacy Department. This role requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and a commitment to patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department, ensuring efficient and effective medication use processes.
• Provide clinical leadership and maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and other hospital staff to optimize patient care.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the pharmacy staff, promoting professional growth and best practices.
• Implement cost-effective strategies to manage the hospital's medication budget.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of medications through the establishment of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy required, Master's degree preferred.
• Active California Pharmacist license.
• 5 years of Pharmacist experience required.
• 3 years of hospital Pharmacy Management experience required.
• Pharmacy residency or fellowship training is preferred but not required.

Skills and Certifications:

• California Pharmacist License (required)
• 5 years of Pharmacist Experience (required)
• 3 years of hospital Pharmacy Management Experience (required)
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and complex projects.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, accreditation, and hospital operations.
