Job Summary:
The Director, Procurement is responsible for the establishment and management of a centralized procurement department, with the accountability for vendor engagement, procurement, and compliance.

The Director, Procurement is responsible for the establishment and management of a centralized procurement department, with the accountability for vendor engagement, procurement, and compliance.
Direct Reports:
- Manager, Site-Base Sourcing
- Operations Manager, Procurement
- Senior Manager, Material and Strategic Sourcing
- Design policies and procedures required to centralize strategic sourcing, procurement, and compliance functions including process, people, and systems
- Design concept enhancements to computer operating system that backs up the strategic sourcing and procurement model
- Interact with operations department with regards to the supply of sub-contractor vendors
- Establish and manage a centralized procurement team to source and negotiate best price and delivery of products and services used by the company
- Working safely is a condition of employment
- Must be able to follow all safety policies and procedures
- Minimum of ten years finance and accounting in a $200 + million vendor/supplier environment
- Minimum of ten years experience of procurement team management
