Job Summary and Qualifications

Under general supervision of the administrative report is responsible for the efficient, effective running of the Progressive Care Unit and Heart and Vascular Unit. This includes, but is not limited to management of the budget, provision of patient care services, performance improvement, compliance with regulatory standards, and business development.

What qualifications you will need:

Licensure/certification/registration:

• Texas State RN license or compact license required.
• BSN required. Must begin Master’s Program within one year of hire into position.
• BLS and ACLS Required by AHA or ARC.
• Specialty Certification required within one year of hire into Director position.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required; 3-5 years management experience preferred.

• Professional Nursing Organization Membership is required
