This role will pay a yearly salary of $95,000 to $115,000.
For FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 12 holidays).
This position will remain open until December 31, 2024.

Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of public safety professionals.
- Develop and implement cutting-edge security protocols and emergency preparedness plans.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure seamless security operations.
- Manage security during large-scale events, acting as the Incident Commander when needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and city regulations for all safety and transportation operations.
- Oversee the security budget, managing both capital and operational expenditures.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or Business Administration.
- At least 5-7 years of senior management experience in public safety or security.
- Strongly preferred: Experience in senior leadership within public safety, particularly in venue management, emergency preparedness, and risk assessment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations.
- Strong understanding of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) National Incident Management System (NIMS) and demonstrate successful completion of Incident Command System Classes (ICS) 100/200/300.
- Certifications such as CPR; SIRA; AED; First Aid Certified are preferred.
- Demonstrated participation or membership in industry organizations, including ASIS, ESCA, IAVM, IAEE, and PCMA, would be beneficial, though not mandatory.
