About Resulticks
Resulticks seeks optimistic, high-energy QA industry veterans with entrepreneurial spirits and proven track records of successfully leading a team while ensuring quality standards are met to join our team as Head of Quality Assurance.
The Head of Quality Assurance will be expected to bring subject matter expertise, thought leadership and the confidence in leading a team that is a key part of our organization. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader who motivates and pushes the team to do better. You should be a detail-oriented person with the ability to work under the pressure that comes with managing a team.
The ideal candidate must be a quick thinker to come up with solutions to various issues as well as recommendations for improvements. The ideal candidate must also have a enthusiastic style of leadership to keep the team moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides input to strategic decisions by contributing information to
strategic plans and reviews - Evaluates, analyses, and reports on the quality program
- Develops and manages against QA budget
- Creates a strategic vision, matures, and directs quality assurance
policies, program, and initiatives - Develops, implements, enforces, and improves upon quality standards,
tools, and methodologies - Promote and ensure continual service improvement occurs, and data-based process improvements are implemented for existing QA processes
- Defines and documents quality policy, process, and procedures
- Manages all quality assurance functions
- Develops QA staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating and training employees
- Engage in the overall Project Lifecycle methodology to inform appropriate data quality and testing considerations are part of the process and templates are available
- Evaluate and cross trains on integration of technical systems and
end-to-end data flows to ensure appropriate level of testing - Works with cross department leadership tp deliver high quality products
and services on schedule - Manages and promotes good working relationships across
cross-functional teams - Research, champions, and recommends industry best practices
Pre-Requisites
- 20 years of experience with at least 12 years of experience
managing a QA team. - Excellent leadership skills with an enthusiastic style of leading.
- Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills.
- Industry certification(s) (i.e. ITIL, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Experience in planning and executing end to end testing of integrated
systems including validation of the integration layer - Experience working with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Expertise in performing different types of testing : Black box, Regression,
End-to-End and User Acceptance Testing - Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills
- Ability to “talk shop” with industry experts.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a
high-pressure environment - Robust analytical skills for both existing processes and
identifying areas of opportunity - Demonstrated leader in the coordination of cross-functional
teams and champion of consistency and task completion - Tangible examples of Thought Leadership.

Experience and Academic Qualifications
- At minimum, a B.A. or B.S. in a relevant field of study
- Advanced degree, or MBA.
Must have authorization to work in the United States.
