As the Director of QA/QC, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the quality strategy for our solar construction projects. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and a deep understanding of industry standards to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, compliant solar facilities.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Strategic Quality Overview
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the QA/QC department aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain a robust quality management system to drive excellence across utility-scale solar construction projects.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of QA/QC professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the QA/QC department.
Regulatory Compliance
- Stay abreast of evolving industry regulations, codes, and standards to ensure projects meet or exceed compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies, auditors, and stakeholders to facilitate compliance assessments and approvals.
Quality Control Procedures
- Develop and enforce comprehensive quality control procedures, ensuring strict adherence to contractual agreements and industry standards.
- Work with quality team and project execution team to ensure adherence to the Quality Management System
Documenting and Reporting
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all quality control activities, test results, and non-conformances.
- Develop, in conjunction with the Project Controls Group, a quality dashboard for use by project teams and executive team to monitor the quality health of the project.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of QA/QC team members and project stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
- Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
- Thorough understanding of plans and specifications
- Utility interconnection and PV electrical installation experience is recommended
- ISO 9001 Certification
- 10 years of progressive experience in quality functions of an organization
- Six Sigma or equivalent experience is recommended.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills and organizational skills

$156,000.00 - $$234,000.00
