The R&D Director of Shopper Intelligence is responsible for the end-to-end development and delivery of our new Shopper Intelligence product. This is a rapidly growing, independent and multidisciplinary team in our R&D.

- We are solving some really complex problems with web server scale, algorithms on the client-side, research of different OS's and APIs, managing multi-million users' products, and more.

- Managing a multidisciplinary group of data engineers, data scientists, backend and frontend developers.
- Leading the development of advanced and creative solutions for complex technical problems in different areas like big data, machine learning, serving, storage and more.
- Work closely with the product and design teams.
- Communicate on a weekly basis with the business owner and get feedback from customers and prospects.
- Hiring new employees and developing the group structure.
- Be crucial part of the product strategy in a startup-like environment.
- BSC in computer science, mathematics, or other applicable domains is expected.
- An MSC or MBA degree would be advantageous.
- Extensive experience in big data/research or web applications as a developer or manager.
- 5 or more years of people management experience.
- 5 or more years of experience in product development and delivery.
- Experience as a manager of managers is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the eCommerce industry - Nice to Have.
- Familiarity with the web/internet/online industry - Nice to Have.
