Director of Radiology

Location: Tucson, AZ

Trusted Staffe is partnering with a leading hospital in Tucson, AZ, to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Director of Radiology. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of radiology operations, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to manage a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Department Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Radiology department, ensuring efficient operations, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of image quality, patient safety, and compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Staff Management: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of radiologists, technologists, and support staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the department's budget effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation.
• Technological Advancement: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in radiology technology and equipment, and lead the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance patient care and diagnostic capabilities.
• Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with physicians, other departments, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of radiology services into the overall patient care continuum.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of a JRCERT formal program in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Five years of experience in radiology in a hospital setting, with three years of supervisory experience.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) license.
  • Certified Radiology Technologist (CRT) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science or related health profession.
• Experience: Five years of management experience in a hospital setting.
