The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate therapy leader who wants to be on the frontlines, engage and train our staff, develop clinical practices and staff developmental opportunities, advocate for staff and patients, and take our therapy team to new heights. Corporate will not micromanage you but will hold you accountable for positive outcomes. Our expectation is for you to be an inspiring clinical leader.
Responsibilities:
- Regional leadership in attracting and retaining top performing, talented team members
- supervising and career coaching existing team members
- Manage the rehabilitation program for the center or designated centers
- Oversee rehab staffing levels and patient care levels to meet clinical and operational needs.
- Ensure ongoing rollout of new policies and procedures to departmental staff.
- Manage productivity standards to meet clinical and operational goals.
- Review the medical records assuring federal and state requirements and conditions of participation for Medicare, Medicaid and other alternative payment models met.
- Implements appropriate facility procedures to meet facility standards.
Qualifications:
- Desire to enrich resident experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Have a valid PT, OT, or SPL license in the state of SC
- Long term care experience preferred but welcome other clinical backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee relationships
- Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care facilities
- Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required
