Position Profile
The Director of Retail Integration is responsible for leading and executing strategies to integrate and streamline retail systems, processes, and channels. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, marketing, and sales, to create a cohesive and optimized retail experience for customers. The Director will develop and implement integration plans that enhance operational efficiencies, support omnichannel initiatives, and improve customer engagement across all touchpoints.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Strategy & Planning
Develop and lead retail integration strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, customer experience, and business performance through integrated retail initiatives.
Collaborate with executive leadership to set objectives, KPIs, and budget for retail integration efforts.
Travel is required to facilitate store and retail expansion.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as a key liaison between retail operations, IT, supply chain, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful implementation of integration projects.
Partner with stakeholders to define and document requirements, timelines, and resource needs for integration projects.
Systems & Staff Integration:
Oversee the integration of systems and technologies across POS, CRM, e-commerce, inventory management, and other platforms to support an omnichannel retail environment.
Manage partnerships with external vendors, technology providers, and consultants to support integration efforts.
Process Optimization:
Assess current processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement to drive efficiencies and reduce redundancies.
Implement best practices for retail integration, including standardization of processes across regions and locations.
Change Management & Training:
Develop change management strategies to support the rollout and adoption of new systems, tools, and processes.
Ensure teams receive adequate training on integrated systems and provide ongoing support to address issues or enhance system utilization.
Performance Measurement:
Monitor and analyze the performance of retail integration initiatives, providing insights and reporting to senior leadership.
Regularly assess project outcomes and adapt integration strategies to meet evolving business needs and customer expectations.
Customer Experience:
Lead efforts to enhance customer experience through seamless integration of online and offline retail channels.
Identify and implement initiatives to improve customer engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in retail operations, systems integration, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
MUST have opened a minimum of 20 Dispensaries in Cannabis
Skills:
Strong understanding of retail systems (e.g., POS, ERP, CRM, e-commerce) and omnichannel integration.
Excellent project management skills with experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics evaluation.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
